Re: Willem Reeders Kune-Tao Training seminars in NY and Flor
Just wanted to say that the NY seminar was great.
It was really good seeing past differences put aside so that we can explore the richness that we all share.
Can't wait until the next seminar!
Thank you.

Someone uploaded a video of a Willem De Thouars seminar. In it, Sifu Lenny is doing a couple of forms. I had never even seen a picture of him, so it was nice to see. Thought I'd share:

only gets better with time. I started my brew in february of 2007. I waited six months for it to brew, agitating it everyday. It worked okay. I've been off from training for a year, and now that I'm getting back into it, I'm finding out that I am totally out of condition. Well, after letting most of...

I took the bag of herbs that you gave me, dumped it into a gallon sized jar. Couldn't find an empty one at the store, so I bought a big jar of pickles, and took them out. I then poured the liquor in. I set it on my kitchen counter, and try to agitate it once a day. I usually just pick it up and shak...

Brother Jeff, can you get your hands on yohimbe? I can only find an extract, but my religion restricts me from using it as it contains alcohol. I noticed years ago at your house that you boiled everything, in glass pots. That's how I've been using my ginseng and other stuff. Had to wait until I got ...

I tried the stuff you gave me in the bottle, and it works extremely well! This chinese lady I work with gave me some trauma wine that he father uses, and it doesn't work as well. I am assuming that it was a little diluted. As for my own batch, it's still brewing. I found 160 or 180 proof liquor. It ...

cleanse
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good cleanse.
It's springtime, and I want to do some spring cleaning.

roadwork
What kind of roadwork do you guys do? I personally walk from my car to my job and from my job back to my car. That's about it. I make light of it, but I know that it is important, so I plan on getting it started. I just wanted to know of what routines you guys do. My father told me that windsprints ...

fingettip bolts
Apparently, either you can spend years of training, learning to channel your chi through your finger tips, or you could be born with it:

doesn't some of the stick training come from outside the art as well? Depends on who you're learning from. If you were learning from me, yes, some of the stick training was imported from another art. If you learn from Dan Donzella (or one of his students), I expect he's folded his kali experience i...

I agree with Mike. A certain amount is necessary, but only a certain amount. Back in the day, I used to always slap box with my cousins and my friends. I developed some pretty good skills. Slap boxing is essentially sparring. However, like Jerry alluded to, you don't finish the job. I remember one t...
